Does this need a SIM card?
No — it connects to your existing Wi-Fi network. No cellular plan or SIM required. You just need a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router or range extender within range of where you want to mount it.

How far will it reach from my router?
30–110+ metres depending on your router and any obstacles between them. A Wi-Fi range extender can push that further if needed.

Is cloud storage free?
Yes — a free plan is available via the LinckEazi platform with rolling 10-day storage. Paid plans are available if you want longer retention. Photos are always saved to the SD card inside the camera regardless of your cloud plan.
